Home, oh, Home!

We've spent this week in LA...and yes, I have totally loved living in Florida but there's nothing better than home! I'm sorry to say this...especially to Brooke and Britt...but I know now for sure, that we're not meant to be in Florida for good. LA is home.

Andrew and I had a really fun week here. It almost feels life-changing! HA! Just kidding...but it has been busy! We spent most of our trip sleeping in the living room on our dreaded air mattress ;) because it was devilishly hot and the only relief was being close to the open sliding door! My good friends, Matt and Becky, got married which was the entire reason we came home. But, boy, was it a hot day!!! I mean, who gets married in the dessert in the summer! Well...they did! On our way out there, the temperature gage in Julio (for those who don't know Julio...he's my car!) reached 113 degrees...hot, hot, hot...and I think it was at least 108 during the ceremony. Fortunately, we were seated in the shade during their vows and by the time the reception started, night had started and cooled down our party. It was a beautiful day and Matt and Becky were so happy. Mr. & Mrs. Lillig are a perfect match!

The rest of week was pretty low-key. I photographed two of my very pregnant friends and Andrew went into the office to work. We spent time with my family and enjoyed being at home. I think I'm ready to go back to Florida and enjoy the rest of our time there. And in August, I know for sure, I will be ready to come home. Because home is home and there is nothing better than home!
